Tourist spot
Batag Island Lighthouse.
Laoang, Northern Samar
Raised in 1907 on a hill at Barangay Marubay, it still guides vessels through the San Bernardino Strait. The hill gives you the view as much as the tower does. It has been marking this stretch of water since 1907, and standing beside it makes the strait's traffic easier to picture.

What this means
Details being gathered
We have not gathered the visiting details for this spot yet, so the fee, the hours and the state of access are all still open questions.
These pages are compiled from public and official sources. A fee, an opening hour or the state of a road is only worth printing once somebody has checked it on the ground, so until then we leave it blank rather than guess. A wrong number sends people on a wasted trip.
