Tourist spot
Nalucaban Peatland.
Pambujan, Northern Samar
A peatland of 500 hectares, the only one identified in Northern Samar. It is a carbon sink and a habitat for the Philippine Duck and the Chinese Egret. Being the only peatland in the province makes this rare rather than merely scenic. Birdwatchers have the most to gain, and early in the day gives the best chance of seeing what lives here.

What this means
Details being gathered
We have not gathered the visiting details for this spot yet, so the fee, the hours and the state of access are all still open questions.
These pages are compiled from public and official sources. A fee, an opening hour or the state of a road is only worth printing once somebody has checked it on the ground, so until then we leave it blank rather than guess. A wrong number sends people on a wasted trip.
