Pink Beach.
San Vicente, Northern Samar
The sand here is pink — crushed red coral and shell worked through the white. There are few beaches like it in the country, and this one lies on Sila Island, about an hour out from the poblacion. An hour's travel is a real commitment, and this is the one place in Northern Samar where it buys you something you cannot see elsewhere in the country. The colour shows best in good light, so time your crossing.
