About Capul

Capul Island sits at the mouth of the San Bernardino Strait, once a waypoint on the Manila–Acapulco galleon route. A centuries-old Spanish lighthouse still watches over its cliffs. Beyond the history are quiet beaches, clear water, and a town that speaks Abaknon — a language found nowhere else in the region.
