Battle of Catubig Marker.
Catubig, Northern Samar
In April 1900 Filipino troops fought the 43rd US Infantry here over four days. This marker records it. The marker is small but the events behind it are not, and reading it in the town where they happened is the point. Pair it with the other Catubig sites for a fuller picture of the place.
