Tourist spot
Most Holy Name of Jesus Parish.
Bobon, Northern Samar
Franciscan missionaries put up this stone church in 1838 and completed its convent four years later. Earthquake damage brought it down, and it reopened rebuilt in 1992. What you are looking at is both old and recent — the original stonework and the reconstruction that followed the earthquake. Knowing that before you go makes the building easier to read as you walk around it.

What this means
Details being gathered
We have not gathered the visiting details for this spot yet, so the fee, the hours and the state of access are all still open questions.
These pages are compiled from public and official sources. A fee, an opening hour or the state of a road is only worth printing once somebody has checked it on the ground, so until then we leave it blank rather than guess. A wrong number sends people on a wasted trip.
