Get directionsBy air: Calbayog Airport (CYP) sits at the edge of the city. Cebgo and Philippine Airlines fly the Calbayog–Cebu route, connecting onward to the rest of the country. By land: The Maharlika Highway passes through the city. Tacloban is about 181 km away, roughly 3 hours by private vehicle; buses also run the route. Catbalogan is about 45 km southeast. By sea: Passenger ships connect Calbayog with Cebu. SeaCat by GRAND Ferries runs a fast craft taking around 5 hours, while Cokaliong Shipping Lines and Kho Shipping Lines sail overnight trips of roughly 10 to 12 hours. Schedules and fares change, so check with an accredited ticketing office or book online through Barkota.
