Tourist spot
Capul Foxholes.
Capul, Northern Samar
Shelters dug into the ground, each large enough for around ten people. They were used by the Japanese Imperial Army during the war. These are quiet and easy to miss, and they carry a different weight from the Spanish-era sites elsewhere on the island. Seeing the size of them is what makes the history concrete.

What this means
Details being gathered
We have not gathered the visiting details for this spot yet, so the fee, the hours and the state of access are all still open questions.
These pages are compiled from public and official sources. A fee, an opening hour or the state of a road is only worth printing once somebody has checked it on the ground, so until then we leave it blank rather than guess. A wrong number sends people on a wasted trip.
