Capul Lighthouse.

Capul, Northern Samar

Locals call it the Parola; on the charts it is the Faro de Isla Capul. The light first burned in December 1896, and the tower rises 40 feet from Titoog Point, 143 feet above the sea. This is the landmark most visitors to Capul come for. The height of the point as much as the tower is what gives it the view, and the dates tell you it has been marking this strait since the Spanish period.
