What to expect

The park is a simple place to enjoy the coast, with plenty of local food and activities nearby. You can rent a bike and ride along the path, grab a bite from one of the 30+ food stalls, take a slow walk, or simply sit and enjoy the sea view and breeze. Just past the park, the city is developing a breakwater and docks, with a lighthouse planned at the far end. Construction on the wider coastal road is also ongoing, so some areas around the park are still works in progress

How to get there

From Calbayog City.

The Linear Park is along the Calbayog Coastal Road in West Awang, on the seaward side of the city. From the city center: Start from Gaisano or Rebellitos downtown, then ride a timbol or tricycle to the coastal road at West Awang. The trip takes about 5-8 minutes, with fares around ₱10-₱20, depending on your starting point. By private vehicle: There's designated parking at the park, so you can drive straight there.
